Write for us
Golden Civic Report welcomes pitches that help readers notice civic heritage in a fresh, well-grounded way. We are interested in clear, distinctive ideas about places, objects and customs, not promotional copy or claims that one interpretation speaks for everyone.
What to pitch
Propose a focused story about a civic building, memorial, public space, civic object or ceremony. Strong ideas explain what readers will learn, why the subject rewards close attention and what reliable public material can support the piece.
Make the proposal specific
Tell us the central question, the likely shape of the article and the sources or examples you would use. A narrow, thoughtful angle is more useful than a broad survey. Flag interpretation, contested history or uncertainty rather than writing around it.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a short outline and a brief account of relevant experience if useful; no credentials are required, and a pitch is not a promise of publication.
